List of Brazilian National Forests
This is a list of National Forests in Brazil. According to the Brazilian National System of Conservation Units,〔( Brazil 2000. Federal Law Nº 9.985 of 07/18/2000. Regulates article 225 of the Federal Constitution and institutes the National System of Units of Conservation and other provisions" > ) , em português.〕 National Forests are areas with forest cover of predominantly native species and has as its basic objective the multiple sustainable use of the forest resources and scientific research, with emphasis on methods of sustainable exploitation of native forests.
